Tuesday, July 18, 2007 (Famous Hamburger 7:00 pm)

This is a summary of what has been completed and still needs to be completed:

Next Meeting will be Wednesday August 8th at 6p.m.
 
COMPLETED:
 
1) Site reservation.  Nasser will receive invoice in the mail Thursday just sign and return with a   
    check.
 2)  signs and banner-Restum
 3)  T-shirts  Cost is $5.00 per shirt.  We will sell at $10 a shirt. Restum
 4)  Nasser will provide The Saj,
 5)  E-mail correspondence- Zinab
 6)  Candy treat bags -Fatima Saad and Zinab
 7)  Web posting- Nasser
 8)  50/50 raffle will consist of 3 drawings amount will be determined on how much we sell.
 9)  Ice cream Nasser will provide van Hassan will provide freezer and Ice cream.
10) Face painting Hassan B. spoke to Mariam Haidar
11) Adult  softball game and kids kickball game organized by Tarik and Zinab
12) Dunk Tank Tarik and Zinab
 
Incomplete:
 1) Phone Correspondence -Haidar, Hassan B, and Nasser
 2) Web page registration form Nasser
 3) Fliers and Posting of fliers Nasser, Hassan G or Hassan B
 4) Contact the Executive board Ali Saad.
 5) Still need to add the rest of picnic pictures on Web- Nasser
 
    THESE ITEMS SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY THE END OF THE WEEK.   IF ALREADY HAVE BEEN COMPLETED  PLEASE INFORM  ALL VIA E-MAIL.
 
Need to do day of event:
 
1) Sign set up- Zinab
2) Banner hanging
3) Registration table includes registration form and name Tags
4) T-shirt table
5) PICNIC TABLE SET UP NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET!!
6) Card and  (backgammon) table
 
Still needs to discussed:
 
1) Pricing for Ice-cream and Breakfast
2) Who will get Dough, Zatar, and Cheese
 
 
If I missed any thing or you come up with something to add please  do so and resend to all!!

SORRY TARIK, HAIDAR AND NASSER BUT DEARBORN IS CONVENIET FOR THE MAJORITY!

 The following issues were discussed during the meeting:

bulletDunk Tank- Tarik Rayshouni will take care of and bring back all info at next meeting
 
bulletSoftball and Kickball game for Youth and Adult - Tarik Rayshouni and Zinab Allie
 
bulletSigns and fliers- Restum Rizk 
 
bulletPosting of fliers at various establishments- Who will step up?
  
bulletT-shirt- Restum will print 50 T-shirts Nasser will e-mail him the pictures to be printed on shirts

bulletWeb page- Nasser will post the picnic date as soon as possible along with registration, no need for all names just head of household with # of people attending.

bulletBoard correspondence- Ali Saad is the Liaison So I think it is appropriate he informs all Executive board members what our agenda is. We need to make sure they all are on board for this picnic. Many were not aware of the picnic until the day before.
 
bulletTable set-up- ?
 
bulletFace painting- Hassan Bajjey (you thought you were off the hook!) can you talk to I think it was Mariam Haidar ?
 
The Picnic Area is still available I don't know how we want to proceed with this should we or should we not reserve it? and if so do we reserve half or whole?  The rates are 400 for the whole area 200 refundable deposit with a 200 non-refundable. Or half for 200 with 100 refundable and 100 non-refundable.  
 
 If there is anything I missed please feel free to add it on and resend to all.
 
Also if you know anyone who will be a valuable asset to this committee please invite them to attend. You don't have to ask permission from anyone , we represent Machghara not any individual.
