First, I want to thank each and every one of you for participating on this web site. I see a lot of passion flying around, and that only reflects your love and caring for our town Machghara. To answer your question, Why haven’t I been writing lately on this web site??? There is a very simple answer, and those who are in touch with me know it very well, I have been extremely busy for the last year building a new home, coupled with a couple of businesses, along with 30 tenants and a new born “fifth child” not to neglect the other 4 children and my better half (wife), I simply haven’t had much time for anything else. Moreover, for a while there was nothing new on the site and I wanted to give the chance to the “younger” crowd to express their thoughts and opinions. I was somewhat amazed and glad to see so many postings recently but yet saddened that we have to hide behind our words without revealing who we are. We must not be afraid of one another, regardless of how different our opinions may be. As for the elections, I am glad that finally we will have some administration to take care of the business of the town. I have to take my hat off for all those participants “mourasha7een” for their dedication and courage, let us remember that these are non-paying jobs and require much dedication and effort to accomplish. Some of names mentioned I recognized but many others while they sound familiar I don’t believe that I had the privilege of knowing them. Of course I know Mr. Jawdat Ibrahim to be an honorable man and a person who spent much of the last 20 years working for the remaining citizens of Machghara, I also know that Mr. George Debs is a fine attorney from Machghara whom have served and extended a helping hand to all of those who sought his help in the last 20 years. For us who live abroad, we should refrain from accusations and condemnation of any candidate. First we are not voting and secondly only time will tell how the winner performs. The next election the citizens can re-elect or replace.

Dear Mr. George Debs
With our respect to your name we believe you should give us some Answers to these questions:
How do you accept this position while you never been to Machghara for the last (30) thirty years ?????? and you don't really know anything about the needs of our village, or is it a pressure by Beirut's creation Machghara's Community (The Packagers Group) sorry to be tuff on you, don't take it personally. We Machgaranians fought for our freedom, belief, and we had experienced in the past with Amine Mansour, he Lived in Beirut and he was the Vice President of our municipality, and every signature we need we have to go to Beirut to get it...
and with the love to the other members of your list some of them we know very well especially the political members. I have to ask them what each of their parties did for Machghara ??
The answer is fighting each other by machine guns, killing each other on our streets.
So it is the time my fellow Machgharani to say NO to any person who wants to play with our kids future, it is the time to stand for the sake of our village.
For the last 31 years we never had chance to say what we want to say, our town needs lots of work, start form the street to the foundation of the sewer, and water to the land which owned by the municipality which fewer people building on, the time came to clean up this town, and refuse any pre-packed Beirutian to run our village.
we have to say Yes to the person who stand up in his position for the last 31 years by himself in our municipality building, solved every problem in the village occurred from 1973 to four years ago, when the county office in Jebjannin took the responsibility to run our municipality office, they took over with big time money and now they are returning the office with 0 money left..... and here is our village to re-build. we want to vote to MR. JAWDAT IBRAHIM because we know him, he's willing to work in our village, YES we want to vote for MR. YOUSSEF YOUNES because we saw what he did in our lovely Machghara from roads in (El harika) to Medical Center in the heart of Machghara where their was nothing except very old broken house on that lot, and Hammoud Center, Ahmed Villa, and Mahfouz villa on the main North entrance of Machghara, to the Subdivision on the "nabi noun" Road. We want to say YES to Mr. Mahfouz Mahfouz Here is why From 1975 the first one to bring medicine to the sick and to the older people, the first one to open free clinic in our town, to 1982 ask who clean up the dead bodies from our streets and mountains to bury them while they have ammo and grenades in their hands.
We want to say YES to every person in the Karameh List because they have history of working with the public, a history of rebuilding, and they have the plan for the future to rebuild our lovely Machghara.
This is what the people of the Karameh List did in our town for the last 20 years but Mr.Debs what did you do for our town and where were you?

The freedom of expression does not exist in Lebanon and especially in machghara. You see, we muslims and Christians left machghara for a reason. Something was called the freedom of expression. You see you can’t have a society without the freedom of expression. I learned that in my social course at Ottawa univerty. This is a very important principle and essential to creating a just and fair society in machghara. Since there are no democracies in the entire Mideast arabe countries, what is wrong with you people. You will find that in machghara. People follow religion too much. Look what is happening in Irak. Look at Iran is struggling towards some sort of democratic system, but so far not very successfully. Where Eygept, Algeria, Saoudiye, the worst offender when it comes to human rights, Jordan, Yamen, turkey, Pakistan, whre, tell me can someone tell me if I am wrong about those countires. And for you ali younis, how important for you to have a name. the name is not important. If you write or have something intelligent to say like me respond.

I told you, eliminate those people from power and then start talking sense. By the way, I think we should seek the support of the "Sourryeen" in Machghara. Why not, they decide for us. 10nx god there are elections so we meet new faces of Machghara.3anjad wlo. with my respect to Mr. El Debs and his supporters, but can we be this ingrate and clap our hands to those who know their "beloved" village just on occasions. enno what do we think we are idiots? stupids? no i guess fools. enno actually i only met georges el debs yesterday on TV, and they claim this list is up to all citizens views. i have one question those 22 and above rn't they supposed to be citizens too? so did anyone asked us what do we want? no need eh. it would be better if u didn't show up and say unanimous list. sorry i forgot u like to show up.
People, i just don't know the architect neither, but i certainly have heard of Mr Jawdat like anyone of u. whether u love him or not. it is matter of loyalty. if u know the meaning of this word u would know that he is the one. cus he stood since ever and joined all parties and views. he is one of those who keep to their word. i m not launching a campaign here i m just revealing to ur blind eyes and deaf ears a reality others r trying to hide. ya zalame how could they say they love their village, they love keep smiling while having photographs. and the worst are those who daily have a stand. wlo 3ayb walaw where is honesty. who s gonna believe u later?

I am not the type who is known for repeating himself, but 2 years ago I wrote and posted the following poem on this very web site. After reading some of the posts I think the time has come to post it again. For those who hate this town so much and love to cloud the issues and talk about "scandals, corruptions, ect..." .
Well... This is our town Machghara and she has a big heart, capable of loving even those who hates her. Machghara welcomes you to come back and see for yourself. But to find Love you must rid your heart of hate first, Machghara is waiting with big open arms to embrace all of those who left and lived abroad, whether like "dogs and cats, or became princes and princesses" Machghara is still proud of all of her sons and daughters and loves them the same regardless of their failures or accomplishments.

Dear Machgharanis,
Please let us respect and value our differences. I try always to believe that it is important to talk openly about even the most controversial and awkward subjects so that as we learn to understand one another we can also learn to respect our differences and even value them. I hope that I contribute to the development of an environment where people in Machghara can respect one another.
No two people in the world are exactly alike. All people, even I disagree with my twins brother, but we agree to accept and respect our differences or views on issues in life for example. Do you have to agree with people to respect their right to have an opinion? No. But people with differing views and opinions can respect each other's right to differ. I think the election process in Machghara is important .let us keep an open mind, let us be informed about what is happening and find out how we can contribute. If you like to play music or write, you might try using those skills to express and share your feelings, but please do not attempt to place disgusting language and ideas that lead us no where. Everyone has something to offer, even if it's something unexpected, like a new idea or a new way of looking at something, there is nothing that prevents you from writing, but please remember if you are from Machghara, please remember how can a society of Machghara benefit from your words if they are of poisonous nature.

في تمام الساعة الثالثة من بعد ظهر هذا اليوم جرى لقاء في جامع الحارة التحتا مشغرة وضم جميع الفعاليات السياسية والحزبية والدينية وحشد شعبي وألقى بالمناسبة الشيخ محمد خليل حمادي كلمة شدد فيها على وحدة أهالي مشغرة في سبيل انماء بلدتهم وتم الاعلان عن لائحة الوفاء والانصهار الوطني التى جرى ذكرها سابقا وجرى تعديل على اللائحة باستبدال اسم الدكتور حسن محفوظ مكان السيد محمد العنقوني. وساد جو من الارتياح عند جميع أقطاب المجتمع المشغري لهذا الوفاق

Since you live in the US (The place that I WAS born in) you don't have to look back at us "dogs" as you describe. Have a full life over there and enjoy it, i wish you the best. I never met him personally, but I know who he is... If you don't like your people then stop talking, I mean "preaching" your thoughts around here. Why do you hide? Is it to protect yourself? I weigh only 65kg... And I admit that I'm not really powerful, yet you continue to hide yourself. You say you know me, do you know me personally? Did I ever speak to you? Because nobody I know is this afraid to fight. All the males I ever met are respectable, so obviously, I don't know you.... Then again, you could be female, but then again, all the female Machgharanis that I know are also not afraid to show their faces. So that leaves 2 more species on this Earth that you could be: One is Chicken. The other is Worm. In case you didn't understand what I meant when I said "Worm", you mindless idiot, I just called you: "THE SCUM OF THE EARTH". And speaking of parents, did yours abuse you in any way? Did your father beat you? Did your mother "NOT LOVE YOU". Because honestly, you seem very disturbed. I know that I didn't cause it because you were babbling (it means "talking nonsense") way before I ever wrote to you. So pull your head out of your rear end and go find a shrink (meaning psychiatrist, also means "Head Doctor") to help you with your sickness. Just so you know, I don't blame you for hating whatever it is that you hate, because it obviously wasn't my fault, nor was it anybody else's who posted on this site. I believe that your problems came from what you heard other people say... You need help, and I really would like to help you, but you keep hiding inside some confined space, all alone with your imaginary friend(s). Remy, our loyalties to Machghara cannot be blemished by this unidentified individual.

This is to Remy Hajjar and those who side with him especially the last individual. I am from Machghara and I am twice your age. I Chose not to become part of Machghara fro many reasons. when you leave your house Remy and live like a dog in the states you come and tell me Mr. Hajjar about this. I worked for 30 years in Machghara and I left with my family and came to the states. what do you know. I lost everything I had. you were not even born there. I know your father personally and how much time did he spend there, but he should tell you about the corruption that take place there. Go and learn to being honest with yourself first and then go and elect those officials. This beginning would be simple. you are telling me that there is respect in your country for people like us. Go and tell your father to keep inviting Syrian officials to his house and I noticed in my visit that many people do that. what do you call that Remy. Fear, intimidation, respect, fear of being harassed by "Zabet Souri" is this the way you wanna live in Machghara Remy. by all means go and live like a dog under this umbrella. I can travel anywhere any place in the states. who is asking you questions. that is what is killing me about your generation. you people are used to oppression, you are used to this life style so you don't know anything about liberty and freedom of opinion. you have to kiss butts to get a job. you have to be associated with a corrupted leader to get a job. Sadly, I am not from this most beautiful town called Machghara; However, I have been there many times and have very dear Machgharian friends (and distant family members!).
The recent inter-exchanges between Remy Hajjar and, the yet unidentified, other party shows, if anything, the former's constructive attachment to his roots and the latter's crave for any self-serving excuse to sever such a belonging.
The said unidentified other party is offering Remy some lessons in politics; Remy, trust me, you can do very well without being so lectured by this particular individual. Incoherent and unlinked references to women in politics (both local and central), the Syrian political system, the various religious issues, etc., etc. indicate, if anything, a wholly confused intellectual processes.
Interestingly, the particular reference to "You people should understand taht teh [sic] Lebanese culture is a culture of violence ..." indicates that this unidentified other party is neither from Machghara nor, indeed, from any other part of Lebanon (his views being expressed as against all "Lebanese", not just Machghara).
On my part, I have, as I said, been to Machghara many times (with much joy) and intend continuing to do so. It is a beautiful place and its inhabitants (from all sects and walks of life) are a caring, generous and hospitable lot - I can vouch for that anytime.
The lesson to be learnt from the said inter-exchanges between Remy and the unidentified other party is that Remy (the new generation) has learnt to identify and acknowledge the so many positive elements of his roots while the unidentified other party (obviously, an older generation) has elected to remain immersed in his historical bitterness (and, ironically, contrive to condemn the same).
Remy, in my humble view you do have the refreshing attitude to make the requisite difference (no matter how much or little) and with sons like you, Machghara will so soon be the place that you and good young men like you can be proud of and enjoy belonging to.

I think I know who you are.
You state that you went back to Machghara once and you did not like what you saw. Well that is fair. So god bless you wherever you are and help you overcome your problems. Whatever your problems are, I would like to suggest some therapy through a professional.
Attacking Remy Hajjar or his parents will only increase your frustration.
There is a 12 step program that we have perfected for patients like yourself and it has been proven that is very effective.
* The first step is you should get more 2 hours of sleep at night.
* Then you MUST and I mean MUST take your prescribed medications on time, all 18 orange pills and the other 6 white ones. Take them with food and drink lots of water.
* Stop sniffing glue and paint, they are not good for you.
* Then, you must cut down on the Net, especially a web site called machghara.com.
* The voices that you hear in your head… that is not God nor the devil speaking to you, it is the side effect of being the town idiot for so long, that no one talks to you now you hear voices.
* I suggest you go back to electrical shock therapy twice a week. If it does not work try 4 times a week. It worked on “Ali Hond.....” so it should work on you.
* Please don’t be so paranoid about revealing your name,… I know…. I know…. You don’t want to go back to the institution. The last trip in a straight jacket hurt your stubby little arms and your feelings too. I promise that this time we will not take you away.
* Oh.. the flashing red lights outside your window… well don’t worry about them, there is an old lady in your building who needs medical attention, they are not here to take you away…

He never went to medical school but we call him “Al Hakim” He killed many people and ordered the killing of the Sham3oun family” Now he is serving a few life sentences in prison because our government was too cowardly to execute him. To tell you the truth, I would love to see him released back on the street so his fate will be the same as his EX-partner in crime “Mr. Elie Hobeika”. So basically the Lebanese government is doing the LF and Gea3gea3 a favor by keep him protected and imprisoned.

I am astonished at some of the messages I have been reading on this site, for the longest time I always thought the only way to get rid of (Ignorance) is by (Education) but the more I read the more I recognize we need to reform our selves and our thinking.
To put it mildly we need to reform our thinking and our mentalities if we are to live together in peace in harmony.
It is about time to open our minds and hearts to see how we can co-exist in this small world of ours without having such hateful feelings toward each other.
I appeal to all of you the people of Machghara, to reexamine your stands. We must come to an understanding that if we do not put our hands together and work toward a town that might be an example for others to follow.
The recipe for disaster is, Muslims against Christians, Muslims against Muslims, Christians against Christians. This is what the west has banked on for the past.

Ethnic, religious and racial intolerance, and nationalism are among the principal sources of our conflict in Machghara. there is no democracies in any of those nations in teh middle east. You will never have peace because religions have been a cause of war. if you want to arrive at taht truth simply threw the religion behind you, you will gain power . look at the United States and France and those powerful countries. why??? the freedom of expression, and the freedom of choice.

كلمة ستريدا جعجع يوم الاحد25 نيسان في بكركي, تلتها بعد الذبيحة الالهية التي تراءسها البطريرك الماروني على نية القائد سمير جعجع عشر سنين مرت والحكيم في معتقله. عشرة أعوام مرت، وتوالت الازمات ولم تجد أزمة واحدة حلا لها، بل زادت تفاقما. الوطن يفتش عن ذاته والمواطن عن لقمة عيشه ومستقبله، والسلطة غارقة في صراع مع السلطة. الوزراء يتباهون في معارضة حكومتهم والنواب يعارضون الحكومة ويمنحونها الثقة ويقرون القوانين وعكسها بسحر ساحر. الفضائح تتوالى من النفط الى الخليوي الى الكهرباء الى الكسارات الى النفايات. ينام المواطن على أخبار فضيحة ليستيقظ على أخبار فضيحة جديدة، فلا ثواب ولا حساب ولا عقاب، وكيف السبيل الى الحساب والمواطن لا سبيل له في اختيار مسؤوليه؟ والقضاء تعطله التدخلات والعدالة الانتقائية حلت مكان العدل اساس الملك. شباب مهاجر عن وطنه، ومهجر في وطنه ملاحق لانه يطالب بسيادة وطنه ولا حساب وحريته، وصفوف الشباب ليست لتتسابق على بناء الغد بل على ابواب السفارات هربا من المستقبل، فأي وطن يبنى ويقوم بدون أبنائه وشبابه؟ أسقطوا الوفاق الوطني ليسقطوا التوازن. فالقدرة على المحاسبة تسهل السيطرة على مقدرات الوطن. ظنوا ان الاضطهاد يجعلنا نكفر بالوطن فزدنا تعلقا به. ظنوا ان الترهيب والترغيب يضعفان العزائم فأضحينا اكثر ايمانا بقضيتنا وتشبثنا بمبادئنا. ظنوا ان حل القوات اللبنانية يضعف الانتماء فزاد التيار زخما وقوة ووحدة. في خضم كل ذلك يسطع موقفكم الوطني الداعي الى استعادة الوطن من تجار الهيكل والى السيادة والاستقلال والقرار الحر، وتأكيد العيش المشترك وعلى وحدة اللبنانيين في مواجهة الازمات. وتبقى القوات ملتزمة هذه المواقف. رهانها في وجه العواصف على وعي اللبنانيين ومصالحتهم ومواجهتها معا، أمينة على المبادئ التي اعتقل من أجلها سمير جعجع، ساعية الى وحدة الصف والموقف في المعارضة معارضتها كالشمس في وضح النهار لا تمالق ولا تهادن، قوتها قوة تغيير واصلاح ومحاسبة بالوسائل الديموقراطية تتوقف عند كل استحقاق لتسائل وتحاسب. كما القيامة انتصار للحق على الباطل سيتحرر الحكيم من معتقله، وتطلق المصالحة الوطنية من سجنها ويعود لبنان وطن الحرية والاحرار وطنا لكل أبنائه

سمير جعجع دخل السجن بحكم قضائي بعد تفجير كنيسة سيدة النجاة ومن التحقيقات تبيين ان القوات وعلى رأسها سمير جعجع مسؤولة عن جريمة اغتيال داني وشمعون وعائلته كذلك تبيين انه مسؤول عن محاولة اغتيال الزايك التي ذهب ضحيتها ثلاثة عشر مواطنا وكذلك اغتيال رشيد كرامي والخ الخ الخ. إن كانت بكركي ليست مهتمة بأرواح ضحايا جعجع وعلى الخصوص ضحايا كنيسة سيدة النجاة ، فإن القضاء اللبناني معني بمحاكمة كل مجرم ومعني بأخذ الحق العام، لذلك ليس للسياسة دخل بالموضوع الا من باب التدخل للإفراج عنه بمعنى إعطائه عفوا خاصا وبالتالي هو ليس سجينا سياسيا بل جزائيا

بعد ان انهت لجنة حقوق الانسان في البرلمان البناني زياراتها لكل السجون على الاراضي البنانية, يبدو انها تناست سجن وزارة الدفاع لاسباب نعرفها جميعا, او ربما وزارة الدفاع ليست ضمن الاراضي البنانية. ناءمل ان تصحح هذه الجنة موقفها و تتخذ القرار بزيارة السجين السياسي سمير جعجع, خلال اجتماعها الاسبوع القادم

I cannot disagree with Nasser and the responsible people of this site. I take pride when I write on this site, I take pride in including my respected friends, from the Hajjar, El-Hajj and Charara and all those who are taking the time to write their entries.

كرّمت عمدة الثقافة والفنون الجميلة في الحزب السوري القومي الاجتماعي وعائلة زكي ناصيف الفنان الراحل في احتفال أقيم في قصر الاونيسكو لمناسبة مرور اربعين يوما على وفاته، برعاية رئيس الجمهورية اميل لحود ممثلا بوزير الاعلام ميشال سماحة، وبالتعاون مع وزارة الاعلام وجمعية المؤلفين والملحنين وناشري الموسيقى وفرقة موسيقى قوى الامن الداخلي. وحضر الحفل النائب ناصر قنديل ممثلا رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري، وزير الثقافة غازي العريضي ممثلا رئيس مجلس الوزراء رفيق الحريري، وزير الثقافة السوري د. محمود السيد، وزير العمل اسعد حردان، الامين العام للمجلس الاعلى السوري اللبناني نصري خوري، والنواب: روبير غانم، سامي الخطيب، ومروان فارس، نقيب الصحافة محمد البعلبكي، رئيس الحزب السوري القومي الاجتماعي جبران عريجي، نائب رئيس الحزب محمود عبد الخالق، وحشد من الشخصيات السياسية والفنية والاجتماعية وعائلة الفقيد.ا
كلمة تقديم للفنانة ورد الخال. وقال سماحة: <<إن غاب قمر مشغرة، لكن صوت المجوز ما زال يدعو الرعاة لليقظة فوق تلالنا، وما زالت العونة التي طالما تغنى بها ترد السلام على المعرفة للجيران الذين انتظروا طويلا رغيفهم وحدل سطوحهم>>.ا
ورأى العريضي <<ان زكي ناصيف مثال المبدع الملتزم>>. وقال: <<انتمى الى وطن وآمن بقضية رافقاه في كل اعماله وابداعاته دون ان يسجل عليه تعصب او فئوية، فاستمر طيلة حياته ينتج ويعطي ويبدع على اساس الثوابت والقناعات ذاتها، متطورا حتى ارتقى اعلى درجات التلحين والفن والغناء>>.ا
والقى وزير الثقافة السوري كلمة شكر فيها منظمي الحفل، وقال لقد <<غنّى القيم الايجابية البناءة التي تنهض بالمجتمع من تعلق بالارض، وحفاظ على الهوية والذاتية الثقافية، والاصالة، وكان معتزاً بانتمائه الى تراث امته وحضارتها الضاربة الجذور في اعماق التاريخ>>.ا
وتحدث الموسيقار توفيق الباشا باسم اصدقاء زكي ناصيف، ووجّه رسالة الى الفقيد استعرض فيها المحطات التي جمعتهما سوياً منذ بداية الخمسينات.ا
وألقى رئيس جمعية المؤلفين والملحنين وناشري الموسيقى الياس ناصر كلمة ضمنها مزايا الراحل.ا
وتوجّه عريجي بكلمتة الى الراحل الكبير فقال: <<اقتنعت بأن الابداع هو قمة الالتزام، فحملت قضيتك بطريقتك، بكلماتك والحانك، واضفت الى خزانتنا ما نفاخر به الامم، فكل اغنية لك نشيد وطني جديد، وكل لقاء حول ابداعك مهرجان للارض والحب والامل والانتصار>>.ا
وتخلل الحفل عرض لمقتطفات من فيلم وثائقي عن الراحل من انتاج وزارة الثقافة اللبنانية، كما تضمن فواصل موسيقية لالحان واغانٍ للراحل أدّتها فرقة موسيقى قوى الامن الداخلي والفنانة لور الخليل.ا
ومنح عريجي باسم الحزب الراحل الكبير وسام العطاء والابداع الذي تسلّمته ابنة شقيقه دلال ناصيف، ووجّهت تحية إكبار الى روح المرحوم فريد ابو خير الذي حفظ تراث زكي ناصيف

why are you even addressing him with the title MR.? He or She or "IT" are irrelevent since most of "its" comments are mumbo jumbo and dont make any sense. The poor thing probably has no friends because of its negativity. let "it" say what "it" wishes since no one will listen to "it" except thru this site. But I believe that he has the right to express his opinion.
I grew up in times when your opinion could cost you your job at best and your life at worse and land in jail most of the time.
This person is genuinely hurt and upset.
My friend, the past made you a bitter person. Look at the future, and have faith in the new generation. There is good and bad in each and every one of us, individuals or Ahzab . Embrace the good my friend, "in a village composed of farmers, people working in tanneries, nuns, priests, and the occasional businessman", as they are our assets not our problem.

Someone would think that monitoring this web site is an important part of any WebMaster's job. Mr. El-Hajj I think and every WebMaster should feel obligated to publish high quality statements, not like this garbage Mr. negative attacking Charara and Hajjar and El-Hajj. I don’t see the Hajjars, charara, or anyone responsible for this site responding to Mr. negative comments. When you choose to remain silent, this gives people like Mr. negative the opportunity to attack anyone on this site.

You people of Machghara are so naïve. Look to yourselves my friends for definition and direction, and not for Al- Ahazab.
People cannot operate with honesty as long as you have people influencing others using political means through their own political parties. As I said before, we left this village Muslims and Christians wanting to seek better life. For those who are still in Machghara and are reading this message, we are being treated like animals, whether we are in the united states, Canada, France, anywhere in this world. Why???? Because of who we are. This is the outcome of our people. Our leaders that led our country, leaders tat we followed for years, we followed people who had money, and people were bought through elections, all this is not enough my friends? That is ok . continue to abandon your souls and ride your horses thinking this is what we deserve and this is is not our fault. You need to discover that your water is not dirty, but you are thirsty for sense of direction. There are some people out there who want you to stay blind.
What happened to all those people who wrote things like Mr. Charara, Bassil Hajjar, and Hassan Hajjar, and Mr. El-Hajj himself and many others. I would like to hear from any of those people . you are calling me Mr. Negative. grow up people and stop looking at your great leaders with tears in your eyes. That is what people in totalitarian countries do. The potential candidates for Machghara should be Actors and actresses since they might make good politicians due to their ability to manipulate people and the press and to lie to them. After all, it is their job to act and lie, which sounds a lot like the job description of a politician, if you ask me. What you think?
You see you can’t do much with a village composed of farmers, people working in tanneries, nuns, and priest. and the occasional businessman. That what I think the problem is.
You know we don’t have leaders in this town, because people cannot develop their ideas beyond a Mickey Mouse level.
